I have only seen that low a price with qty discounts.

And, for the record, what type of load should I be using with a Kirst Konverter in either a Uberti or Peitta NMA repligun?

I just loaded up a few cartridges of 5.5gr of Trailboss and 200gr soft cast bullets in Starline 45lc cases to start out with.
This is the MINIMUM starting load according to IMRPOWDERS.com

I like 45 S&W Schofield rounds with 5.1 grains of Unique under 180 grn National bullet RNFP with Starline brass and Winchester large pistol primers.  I prefer the Scohfield rounds for smokeless less cartridge case less powder position problems.

For BP subs    I use 45 Colt brass with the same bullet over 28 grns of APP Gold and a caulk backer wad to take up any air space excellent boom,smoke,and recoil!! I even hit the target between smoke clouds occasionally!!   As with all things your milage may vary, oh yes I shoot Pietta and Uberti 1858 NMAs both types with the Kirst Konverters. I have the drop in's and really like the Civil War recoil shield looks, fits my persona as an Arkansas ridge runner border wars vet.

PS:    I think the gated converson sale is over, Texas Jack now has the Kirst dropin's like I have but the non Civil War recoil shield version on sale and the Gated R&D's for the 1851/61 on sale.  Texas Jack only sells Uberti's I think, so his conversion Kits will likely only be for them.
