2nd place FCGF

Howdy Pards,

I took 2nd place at the Rock River Regulators annual match and Wi. State Championship SASS match.  You know what 2nd place gets in a shooting match??  A coffin.  Frontier Cartridge Gunfighter is my chosen category and I enjoy it.  But, there's always someone out there that can beat me.  I can shoot clean, but I'm just not getting any faster.

Age, Wisdom and Treachery can only get us just "so far" when up against Youth and Speed.  I personally think "youth" is completely wasted on the young.

2d place at our age, ain't half too shabby ya know.

It's the people, flames, smoke and the clang that keep me coming back.  But mostly it's the people.  SASS matches bring out the best in the best.
