Delmonico

Just touching base, getting prepped to leave on the 18th and planning on making supper that night.  Anyone besides Chuck, Vaughn and Micha planning on being there?

Anyone needing special meals let me know, will do the best I can I  allergies myself and understand.

Anyone suggestions for meals will be considered also.

Thursday night planning on a pizza party in the pasture on the solstice, sounds better than dancing naked in an oak grove since Jerry does not have on and it's about 200 miles to Carhenge.

Jerry has sent me the funds he has received, anyone wanting to send to me my address is,

Glen Carman

Lincoln NE 68502

Meals are $8 per meal.

Anyone wanting to pay me at the muster it's fine also.  Would prefer cash up there, I buy a lot of my groceries at the wonderful store in Sargent and like to spend it all in cash so they don't have to pay card fees.  Me being in retail understand that fully.

Better check your calendar, June is funny shaped this year.  He's right on time.

A few of us show up a week early and spend the time up on the hill, setting things up and eating beans . . . (Blazing Saddles reference)

Good thing you're mailing Micah, we can use the box for kindling.

Jerry said he already got Slim's registration, but he said nothing about Micah. Hope they didn't send him via California or something like that.

With all due respect Colonel Sir, I do believe that you and Del should check the calendar. The shoot is 29th thru 7/1, so the 18th would be really early! Jack and I are planning on arriving the 26th. My personal feeling is that we should make an effort this year to set up the shade shelters that we had two years ago, shade is a valuable commodity!

UH OH!  Somehow we got to thinking the last sunday in June!  Gotta get my days off at work changed!

Colonel, may I respectfully suggest changing your schedule to a two day work week, Monday and Tuesday? I'm really enjoying five day weekends, and my perspective on Tuesdays has totally changed since it became the last day of the work week! Looking forward to seeing everybody in a couple of weeks! I do hope it cools down a tad bit.

I really should hate you for that.  :P

Ah well, 6 more years and I'll be able to switch to a 7 day weekend schedule . . .

My registration is in the mail (Legal disclaimer: No children were mailed in the sending of this registration). Hoping to arrive Thursday evening. Good thing it's a week later than some thought, all the naked dancers should be dressed by then. Will be paying cash for meals, probably Thurs evening through Sun morning or maybe noon.

Delmonico, if all goes as planned (does that ever happen?), we'll arrive in camp Thursday evening with four for supper(but the kids don't eat much, and they're REALLY picky, so we'll be sure to have some hot dogs and sandwich makings with us. Four for breakfast and maybe lunch, then we're off to Burwell for the afternoon/evening. Most likely just me for breakfast/lunch after that.
