I have two RNV mod 5107 - one from 2014 and one a little bit newer. Both have dents/marks on the cylinder ratchet. One of them have bigger dents. Is this normal? Both guns works just fine..

Do your "spin" the cylinder to show empty, then snap the loading gate shut to stop the cylinder??

No.

The only other opinion I could offer ..... your guns have a "funny" alignment of the hand coming up to the Star (ratchet) and the top of the hand is running into the side of the star on it's way up.  You should see a corresponding wear mark on the hand.

Unless you begin to have a problem with the hand not indexing the cylinder ..... non issue.

No-That is NOT normal.
Look for a mark on the 'hand'.
Do you still have the index plunger in the rec'r installed?

No, I don't have the index plunger installed. But the marks appeared before I removed the plunger.
