Morning y'all.
Thanks fer the coffee.

'Tis 15, windy and overcast. "Mostly cloudy in the morning then clearing. Scattered flurries in the morning. Highs in the lower 20s. West wind 10 to 15 mph."

I love the smell of Black Powder in the morning!

44 and wet....?rumors of snow?  Obviously, it won't stick.
Got the Jeep back.  It was just the cable linkage from the gear shift to the transmission had broken, but you wouldn't know it from the cost of the repair!

Cold, wet, and fairly breezy. Had to have more wood delivered yesterday, which was quite the chore. I asked for the wood to be dropped off over the weekend, cause we need to go to Athens on Friday. "Can't do it, how about Thursday?". Well, the wife is working all week, 7P to 7A, and I really didn't want her being woke up by the dogs. I ask if he could do it yesterday, "nope". After 20 minutes of back and forth texts, we finally settle on Thursday... today. I get a call on Tuesday, "It's 100% chance of rain on Thursday, how about Wednesday?" I swear it would have almost been easier to just cut my own  ::)

So on Friday, it is supposed to be freezing rain and snow, on our trip to Athens. It is always interesting, when you have a lifelong Flordida Cracker driving in snow  ;)

My old Massey Harris 101 Jr., had the crank set up...i always used the pop the clutch method.

I learned to always park the Case on a hill at the top of the driveway. Problem was, if it didn't start on the first "pop", then it was in the way, keep trying and it would be in the road, then you need to get another tractor to either pull start it, or drag it back out of the way.

Afternoon all.

Sunny and 60 today.  25 last night, so there is ice everywhere.

Took the dog for a walk, got barked at by some tweaker and his chihuahua while out.  We were a few miles from the highway (which at that point is about 3 miles from town) so I'm not entirely sure what he was doing, or how he got there. ???  I had the bigger dog though, so it all turned out okay.

Chicken Waffles this evening... i run the "fry daddy" cooked breaded chicken fingers and Suzanne mixed up the waffles and run the waffle cooker.  YUM!   One of our favorites but don't have it often enough.

Coffee and Hot Coco this morning....

We had some 4 letter word stuff over night. I guess Slim left his doors open. I hope it turns to rain soon.

Thanks for the coffee.... 33 and snow on the ground!
Should all melt by 900...high of 44 today.
The Jeep got me safely to work, and didn't encounter any ice on the road on my end of town.  Some main lanes were shut down in town, north and west, too.  Houston just isn't prepared for snow....darn global warming...

I keep hearing this. ;D

My Jeep was much quieter than usual...could be that my ears are stopped up and I can hardly hear anything, including my alarm clock... ;D

Mine is back- the rattle from loose converter shield is there still- same bald tires.  But all those new coolant parts are shiny.

So since it was snowing- i decided to take it to feed store and get some feed and be able yo keep it dry in the hatch.  Got there and they apparently can't work in the snow.  Will call them in morning to see if they are open before i drive

Afternoon all.

Got down to 19 last night, according to the thermometer.  Crystal clear sky, so no fluffy white stuff.   Might get some up north/higher elevation tonight, though.  We'll see.

About to head out with the dog to make another video.  I made one impromptu yesterday, but I've been planning this one for a while.  Hopefully it turns out okay.  I just have to find my folding saw. ::)

It's been cold enough for s**w here, but it would require some moisture in the air, and we just don't have that.

If anyone needs some stain to bring out the beauty of oak, don't waste money buying it.  Strong dark coffee works fine.

Could buy a Starbucks and be cool Yuppie about it.
