We are working on next years convention, I have about half of the seminars set up. If you
have any ideas, or would like to do a seminar, please don't be shy. We have had a gun seminar,
Winchester rifles in 2016, and Colt revolvers this year. Personally I would love to see one on Sharp's,
but I'm not knowledgeable enough to do it. Remember this is OUR convention put on by a very
small group, so your talent would be very much appreciated by all.

I will be talking about the hand gun(s) that won the west.  I hope that anyone and everyone who might be interested come armed with their favorite WAS pistol.

Hopefully this will generate some audience participation, and not just me throwing out a lot of statistics.

Keep in mind that NCOWS is dedicated to the "...promotion of our historical Western heritage in all its ethnic, social and occupational diversity."  That include guns.  Not everyone was a cowboy and not everyone carried a Single Action Colt.

If you still have room on the agenda, I bet Jean Warren would do one of her clothing/period correct material seminars.

I thought she was..read it somewhere  :-\  I'm pretty sure....

Now here is a novel idea.... have someone digitally record the seminars, edit them and offer them for sale to those unable to attend
at reasonable price....

when planets align...do the deal !

If Jean is presenting, I missed the announcement.

Are you volunteering?   ;D

You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

Books, I will have my (new) old Merwyn Hulbert at your seminar.

Probably the most challenging part of putting on the convention is setting
up seminars. I try to get an array of different subjects to satisfy the interests
of different people, and also draw in the public, last year we had 330 walkins.
We have a tremendous amount of knowledge in our group, we just need people
to step forward, even I have done a few. Our lineup is full this year, but there's
always next year.
