You can teach an old horse a new trick. Ryan has learned he can break stride without being pulled down.

Evening all.

Well, I just got paid $12.53 an hour for 20 hours of watching YouTube.  The smoke from a fire up north was right on my tower, so I had visibility of less than half a mile.  :-\  Yeah.

That's pretty much it.

Another Krag is home.  ;D
I finally my hands on a bottle of Trail Boss. I'll have to try some with Krag loads. I have a Lee 160 gr mould that I'm gonna try.

Got the chickens home and in their "beds". The rest of the family are coming home later with the rest of the projects.
The demo derby started at 1700.

I think Drydock has had some success with the Lee pointed 160gr, not sure if he's got the regular one, or the "soup can" bullet. I got the soup can one, to try in my Lee Enfields, but no joy there yet. So far just really nice "profile" holes in the target. Need to get a .314 sizing die and try them gas checked. I have a Lyman mold for a spritzer bullet about 185 gr my Krag loves, haven't seen the need to try any other.

Delmonico

Got home from Kansas about 6:30 power here came back on about 6:30.  Had bad storms last night, I moved in side some friends awning.  First time I had to seek shelter this year.

Had a good time with some old friends, met some new ones also.

Stirring the coals for the night crew again.

Today was an overtime day for me.  So I got paid $18.86/hour for 8 hours of staring at smoke and reading.  Another half mile visibility day.

In other news, Archery season started Saturday, so I'm got my bow tuned up this evening and got some good practice in, and scouted my spot for tomorrow morning.  Saw a buck just after dusk, so we'll see how that pans out.  ::)

I like using gas check bullets but not fond of Trailboss powder.

Hot again today... but it don't matter life as we know will end around 1330 hours today.

I sure could use a ice cold sweet tea right now.
