Yeah, wasn't due till Thursday today anyway , coming from N. Dakota to my FFL.
Probably can't get by there till Friday 

Anyway up checking the plumbing , dropping the kids off at the pool ...as it were

Glad it is you stacking the hay not me. I used 25 bales last year and one compressed bale of alfalfa .  For  4 adult goats. I used a tarp on the ground in old equipment shed.  Problem was one of the hens made a nesr in it. Hid her eggs there.

My return from Milwaukee did not last for long.  The night after we got back we got a phone call from my wife's sister.  One of my wife's nephews was killed in a motorcycle accident, so we got a flight back to Wisconsin.  Spent the next2 plus weeks attending the funeral and seeing to my MIL.  Once she seemed to be doing OK emotionally we came back.  So far things seem to be stable back there, so we should be home for a while now.
