Been a long time coming, but finally found one I was looking for!
A new to me Garrett Sharps in 50-70!  Nice carbine model with decent wood and case hardening!!
And, like the rest, shoots better than I can!!!

The Garretts had a very good reputation. Very close copy of the original.

My 50-70 carbine is a Shiloh and I really enjoy it. My 'go to' rifle when the Paiutes are on the rampage.

Knew I'd have to have one after seeing La Beef's in "True Grit". Haven't tried any 600 yard shots with it.
