You may or may not like the sport of Airsoft. But cowboy Airsoft guns are great for plinking, training in the basement or introducing the kids to the sport of cowboy action shooting.

No recoil, no muzzle blast, and extremely cheap shot for shot.

You are correct, sir. And  a load of fun. I bought this Umarex Colt SAA for my backyard shooting pleasure. b  :D

Not exactly cheap as air guns go, the newer BB and pellet shooting cartridge guns are about $150 +. I like the cartridges to put the BB or pellet in the back of. The cartridge has a sort of nylon rifled tube through the middle. Using a 12g Co2 cartridge inside the grip area to fire them through the cartridge and down the barrel. I have the Umarex/Colt SAA in .177 pellet cartridge with 5 1/2" barrel. It has some heft to it as I weighed it on my scale at 2lbs, 1oz. It has the Colt logo and patent dates on it as well! I had the black grips with the, " Colt Peacemaker" badge on it originally;

  And the cartridges that take .177cal pellets in the back end;

  And now with the Umarex faux ivory grips and Clint's snakes. All the Umarex/Colt SAA grips interchange...
