Thank you for your comments, Major2 and TL. They agree with everything I have found online, in fact, the only criticism of the USA Henry I have come across is the possible over-buffing, leading to a loss of crispness and every photo I have seen shows very attractive wood.

There is the fact of owning a quality American made firearm, as opposed to an import.  Sure, I would love an S&W Performance Shop Schofield re-issue, but not at $2,000 as opposed to $1,000 for a Uberti Schofield.  Also is true of the HRA Henry being double what a Uberti is.

I purchased a HRA Henry in 44-40 in June.  I've not used her in a match yet, but plan to soon...Hopefully this weekend.

She is a beauty...The brass is just starting to patina.
