In another forum, I received advice on improving the action of my Uberti Henry.  I actually had no complaints, but it was pointed out that the stock springs make the action tight and stiff unnecessarily, and cause premature wear.
So I ordered a set of Whisper Springs, a new feather weight mainspring, and a lighter firing pin return spring from the Smith Shop.  A week later I have installed the set and I cannot believe the difference in the action now.  The hammer fall is so gentle, I was amazed to find that it would ignite a primer.
Incidentally, none of the screws on this brass framed Henry from Uberti were excessively tight.  My screw driver set from Brownell's never slipped.
