Today we're forecast for thunderstoms, which has me a little nervous.  I'm supposed to be setting up the sound system for the VFW ceremonies today.  Rain could really put a damper on things.  I don't want to be the guy who drowns $5000 of equipment...

Morning all.

Yesterday was 72 and 70% humidity, and today is forecast the same.  The difference is, today is payday, which makes things easier to handle.

And today is the day: I'll be ordering my new rifle.  I decided to go with the Winchester Featherweight M70 in 280, since they only make them in runs of 10,000 and Sportsman's only has 10 left.   Resale value, and all that.

I should also find out about a new job I applied for.  It's with the Forest Service, and it's only for the summer, but it's full time doing more interesting work.
