Morning all.

Cap, at least you don't have to do a whole pig, right? ::)

Today we're forecast for thunderstoms, which has me a little nervous.  I'm supposed to be setting up the sound system for the VFW ceremonies today.  Rain could really put a damper on things.  I don't want to be the guy who drowns $5000 of equipment...

No sir, and I wouldn't be able to. I could do a pig on a spit, but I have a small smoker, and her butt just barely fits as it is.  ::)

I love the smell of Black Powder in the morning!

Morning all.

Yesterday was 72 and 70% humidity, and today is forecast the same.  The difference is, today is payday, which makes things easier to handle. ::)

And today is the day: I'll be ordering my new rifle.  I decided to go with the Winchester Featherweight M70 in 280, since they only make them in runs of 10,000 and Sportsman's only has 10 left. :o  Resale value, and all that.

I should also find out about a new job I applied for.  It's with the Forest Service, and it's only for the summer, but it's full time doing more interesting work.

Good luck on that job Kid. I wish I had the opportunity to learn about forrestry when I was younger, especially now that I live in the woods. They have some cool toys to play with... I mean work with :)

Not mine, it's the one at the GAF camp up by Sargent Nebraska.
