Drydock

No. I'm in the Ozark highlands just south of Jefferson City MO, Creeks are up, but we're just fine.

Pony Express checked in in Tall Tales, very wet but ok, he played in the mud getting the mail delivered today though. ;)

Yup, a bit muddy. Had to detour around a flooded creek yesterday, and one day last week I wasn't careful enough turning around after delivering a package....back wheels got off the gravel. discovered that the new-to-me Blazer's 4WD is not functional.... an hour delay and $61 tow bill to get going again.

Results of morning reconnaissance: To the west, crossing the Wet Auglaize creek at Bobby Jones Slab, still impassable, although water appears to have gone down at least 4' from it's peak. To the north, Happy Holler slab, traffic passing through. To the east, Seven Springs slab passable, 4-6" water over slab. Church looks like a "go".

We're having a blizzard at the moment that has taken down power lines. We've been without electric for a couple of hours. I'd take some global warming about now.  ::)

Had a few snowflakes while I was at work yesterday (no not the lumbersexuals with man buns from UNL main campus, we get those everyday.)  This was around noon, rain amounts vary but Salt Crick was running about 1/2 full last night.

Gasconade river is over US 63.  Crest sometime tomorrow.

Dammit, we told them when they built that new Bridge it was too low!  There was a reason their Grandfathers built the old bridge near a hunnert feet higher!
