Well my '76 hasn't shown up yet so I've cast some bullets and scrounged a few sights.
Moulds:
Lyman LA FN 457643 400 gr.
Lyman FN HP 457122 330 gr.
SAECO/Redding GC FN 61017 350 gr.
I've been bored so I've been casting 535 gr. Paper Patch Slicks for a 45-90 1874 Sharps. I also refinished the Pedersoli 1874 Long Range's stock. I wasn't happy with the red gravy finish. I stripped it and sanded with 1000 grit followed with Walnut Danish Oil, Skidmoor's Bees Wax Finish and then Tru Oil. It came out like glass. I may do the '76 if it warrants it. I mentioned redoing the '76 to my wife and she said, "I haven't even seen it yet". We'll see.
