Any ballpark figure , on value to nice Webley date 1923  has been cut for moon clips  45 ACP

Mint bore, about 90% + blue finish , no digs, !

For what it's worth, there are several listed on Gunbroker with bids, so you should be able to get an idea.  They've certainly gone up since I bought one twenty five years ago!

$600 and up.  The big bore Webleys, even the cut ones, have really taken off the last few years.

A Webley in your pants can be priceless! :D

Now THAT is cool, Charles!

That's the park I was in.... $400-$600  Being cut for clips , reduces it some.

My offer is in the Middle  :-\   we'll see,  a Webley was not really on my bucket list but desirable ...so if it doesn't fly ..so be it

I bought one about 15 years ago, paid $250 for it. It had been shaved to shoot with moon clips, which I did, although always with trepidation that it was going to explode. I ended up selling it, but now wish I'd held onto it. Too expensive to replace at this point.

I've got a shaved MK V I handload with Unique and Lead bullets, perhaps my favorite revolver.  Mostly in Auto-Rim brass, with some in acp/full moon RIMZ clips for fast reloads when I Zoot shoot.

Why thank you Sir, my brother veteran of the unpleasantries in Somalia! 8)

Charles, we are doing our span am shoot this month. Can you come out and play? As to the post. My Mk1 and Mk4 that I picked up many years ago were about 175.00 but my Mk6 that I got most recently was 500.00, all were shaved. I have found a few intact cylinders over the years but of course the serial numbers are different. I think that the cylinders cost about 150.00 each. One came all the way from South Africa so it may have seen some action. I'm partial to the long cylinder Webleys that have been made into .45lc. The thing you have to remember is to load a large enough bullet. .452s are way too small, my powder coated bullets work well as the coating adds several thousands to the diameter. I've got 5 of them and they're great guns.

Did you pick that one up in country?  There was some really cool stuff floating around that place.

Thanks for the invite Ed! I will try to get out there. I bought a house in Lexington North Carolina and I'm getting things squared away with it right now

Yes I did Dale! It's loaded with Knyoch .455 Cordite-it was a real tack driver. The lanyard ring from it now resides on my Mauser military automatic-already removed when that picture was taken.

We found an ammo wallet full of .416 Rigby rounds.  I would LOVE to have found the rifle they belonged to!  (I would have had to find a way for that one to follow me home, especially if it was a double............)
