Gentlemen,  Anyone here have any idea how much Browning Mountain Rifles are going for used?  I've got a .50 I'm looking to move but I have no idea what to ask.  Can't find any online.  Thanks!

Well, If I recall correctly they were retailing "new" at something north of $1100.00
They were said to be very well made and one of the best "correct" reproductions of a mountain rifle.

I guess it depends on where you take it. If you can get to a Mtn Man Rondy I think you might do better than GB.
I know this doesn't help much but I am amazed at such low asking prices.

Track of The Wolf  sells front loading firearms on consignment. I have never sold through them. I have bought one from them. That was back when I was pretty much flintlock only. It was a good transaction. You might contact them and see what they think it will sell for. I agree that they are nice guns.

A local gunsmith here has Browning MR new in the box, selling for a widow, and is asking $900.  Says its worth $1900.  I doubt it.
