Talk about under the weather.  had a fever of 103 this afternoon, but some ibuprofen took care of that.  So I'm just sitting here coughing up my lungs and trying to convince my sinuses to stay in my head.

Just got home, 2 hours late again think the overnight kid is gone now.     Looks like I still get tomorrow off, maybe, but not sure when the next one will be.

Morning all. 

The fever has gone away for good it seems.  Just in time for me to go in to work early and leave late.   
My supervisor had to go on a skiing trip with his youngest daughter today (terrible day, I'm sure.  ), so I went in at 6:15 to get the building cleaned in time for opening.  When I got there, there was a note informing me to clean the big conference room (i.e the 1000 sq. ft. room with 75 chairs) by 8:30 because the blood donation group needed the room.  That took 30 minutes to just get the chairs stacked...  Then I got to move all the chairs and tables outside, vacuum the place and sanitize all the counters, light switches, door knobs and window blind handles.
It's not all bad, though.  Since I left early Tuesday and Thursday, I had to make up an hour, so I got 45 minutes of that done.

We were in the teens this morning. At least we were dry. Finished up the install of the new water tank for the club house rest rooms. Whoever thought of boxing the dang thing in in the first place should've been horse whipped. Had to tear out a wall and stud to get the old one out. Plus, no area to drain it.......HEAVY! Took almost two days to get the old one drained outside. Anode rod was shot, black water.

Feeling somewhat better this evening, slept 10+ hours last night. Was still pretty rough in the morning at work, but it seems to have passed now. Supposed to be mid 40s tomorrow, I'll see if I have enough energy left to operate the chainsaw.

Feeling much better today.  Was able to get out and do some things today. 

Homemade pizza for dinner.  I'm stuffed like a teddy bear.

A member of my cast iron cooking groups on FB passed away, I had to work, but tonight dozens over the country lit a candle for CJ and posted a picture of it.

Scored some Trail Boss ,  some  115 grain .313  bullets , and some 32/20 star line brass for my new SAA.
Also some  240 Grain .429's  for my 44's

saw two Win 73's  on a table in 32/20 in fair condition

Morning all.

Well, the weekend is over.  Back to work I go. 

I'm pretty much getting over whatever bug I had.  My nose is still a little stuffy, and I'm coughing a bit, but not terrible.  I've been able to take the dog for walks without coughing up a lung, and my voice doesn't sound like Batman anymore. 

Yesterday was my brother's birthday.  13 years old now.  Give him a few weeks and I think he's going to be bigger than me.   He's already heavier, but I'm still an inch or two taller.  And I do a lot more pushups.

And finally, a friend of our died this week as well.  Nobody was surprised about it, considering he was almost a hundred, but we weren't expecting it to be so sudden.  I spoke to him at the grocery store on Monday, and Thursday morning he died.
