The Trinity Kid

Greetings good people of the internet.

We've had almost 3 inches of rain since 8am yesterday here, along with about 2 inches of white stuff.  More on the way, too.

Last night I managed to make a half-way decent beef stew and sourdough biscuits for dinner.  Considering I was missing about half the ingredients I needed for stew (carrots, onions, celery, beans, etc), I think it came out okay.  The biscuits were good, too.  Very buttery, but that's not a bad thing. ::)

Morning y'all.
Coffee is hot.

Verked 11 1/2 hours yesterday.  ::) Plan on leaving at noon today.

'Tis 32 and sprinkling. ">Cloudy. Light rain and freezing rain in the morning... Then a chance of drizzle in the afternoon. Areas of fog. Minor icing possible. Nearly steady temperature in the mid 30s. East wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation 80 percent."

I love the smell of Black Powder in the morning!

The Trinity Kid

Morning all.

Temperature is around 33, with mixed rain/sleet/white stuff coming down.  According to our new weather station, we've broken the three inch of precipitation barrier.  The way some people act when we get some white stuff is ridiculous.  I spent nearly 15 minutes trying to get across town, a total of 2 miles with one stop sign,  because the car in front of me wouldn't go faster than 5-8 mph.  Being cautious is one thing.  Becoming a traffic hazard because of 1/2" of slush is another. :-\

In other news, I'm trying to find where to watch the inauguration.  We haven't had television since... 2007 I think.  For the last one we just went to Round Table and watched it there while eating an early lunch.   :P  This year, we'll see

That's where we watched it.  ::)

We have had white stuff mixed with rain all day, but nothing accumulating.

Ah, but you can grow something that can be recognized as a beard!
Whilst I have enough to make a fair to small moustache, I on the other hand have such a scattering of facial hair
that if I try to allow it to grow I look ( with my scarecrow-like dashing figure)  like an emaciated old chinese relic
with a few wisps of thread hanging off my chin..... my beard is as sad or actually worse than this gent:

As long as the only movement is of white hairs on your head you'll be fine. The trouble is when they start moving out of your head.  :o

My dear professor. Think instead on the silver lining. Your are saving money on razor blades.

Besides that, my beard is composed of uneaven very curly hairs that if allowed to grow would make me look like a recently deceased leader of an island near your U S of A.  :(
