I just picked up a Spencer rifle serial number 24015.  Any info?  Thanks

Checked your serial # in my SRS books nothing even close to your 24015 . . . your Spencer Rifle may have been part of a state bulk purchase.  But, don't know which state.

Thanks Two Flints.  I think it was part of a Massachusetts purchase.

That is in the Mass. contract serial number range. They don't show up in the SRS books since they were state purchases, not federal.
