Anyone have a pyrodex load using 200 grain bullets for the 41 Swiss Vetterli rifle.

River City John would be the guy to talk to about the Vetterli, but I think he only uses real Black.

Tried black once, - not enough lube. 6 or 7 shots and in effect I was shooting a smoothbore.

I tried Pyrodex many, many years ago and did not like the mess it made.

Everything I shoot now I use Trail Boss.

River City what would a good Trail Boss load be, with a 200 grain bullet.

330 gr. lead bullet, 10.0 gr. Trail Boss, bullet seated to exactly 2.2 inch o.a.l.
