Scattered Thumbs

Dear esteemed professor,

I only can say this: life's too short to fire an ugly gun.

Sorry.   :-[

Major 2

Ugly ?

it may be unusual, even eccentric ...it is a work of art and quite exceptional....

The Sterling Engine is also very cool

when planets align...do the deal !

With that many cylinders, I cringe to think what a chain-fire would do!
BTW, I've been reluctant to buy a replica Remmie revolver rifle because I don't want my hand in from of the cylinder.

It looks like a Cartridge gun to me. I don't see any nipples for caps, or a loading lever for that matter. If I'm right, I wonder what the caliber is.

As for the Remington, you have to hold it with a handgun style grip, not like you would a normal rifle. Go for it, they look like great little carbines. I want one badly.

Ah-humm... Yeah...no place for the caps, nor a loading lever...I'll blame my lack of observation powers at the time on lack of coffee and nutrition.   ;D

My Good Troy,
I would like to point out ... there is an imperative that one keep one's Caffeine level well regulated.  When your "Low Caffeine" light illuminates, attempt no further intelligent nor mechanical actions until the issue is resolved and the "Low" light goes out.

Skip that "well regulated militia" stuff.  If yer Caffeine ain't well regulated the militia can't help ya!!  Liberus Coffieus fer allofus!!  (Burma Shave)

I find that it is beneficial to maintain a steady-state level of blood in the caffeine stream.

Wow! .38sp, my caliber. 12 shot cylinder.

Couldn't shoot it in any of the venues I currently shoot, though. I'd have to join Steampunk . . .
