Some last convention things. Remember we are at a different location than last year, the Radisson, 111 East 2nd St. Pull
up front and check in first, and you will get a free parking pass. I could not get free breakfast thrown in on the deal, but there
is a restaurant there, and several more close by. We would appreciate any items for door prizes at the banquet. The long range
weather forecast looks good for those of you driving, so everyone should have good roads.
So I'm very much looking forward to seeing everyone, drive safely and we'll see you soon.

I did mention that I'd have lead again this year. It will probably be the last time I have it since my supplier has dried up.
I haven't heard from anyone that they want lead so perhaps I shouldn't bother to bring it.

I will likely want some, depending on your asking price. Do you have anything but pure lead?  Like alloyed with tin and antimony?

No just pure lead. I do have a half of coffee can of wheel weights but I wasn't going to bring that. As for price I have no idea. Usually I let the buyers tell me what the going price is.
I think last year it was around $1.50 per pound. I only have a canning scale to measure with so it's a ball park figure.

Count me in for 40 pounds if you have that much, Will.

Sierra Sue and I got back to the old rancho about 8:30 last night. We had a great time, visiting with old friends, making new ones and reminiscing about the faces that were not present from years past.
Thanks to Billy and his crew for organizing a wonderful event again this year!
Safe travels to everyone still on the road.

It was Sadie Jules and I first time to the National Convention and we had a great time seeing familiar faces and making new friends.  Thanks to all those who put it together and we definitely will back to next year's shindig.  Now looking forward to the National Shoot in June.

Well, I had high hopes to come to see all the festivities and meet a bunch of ya, but last minute things got in the way. Look forward to any pictures any can post. Being "on self imposed unemployment" now (chinchy way of saying I'm retired-always thought of people as being old when they retired-have different perspective now)--anyway, will have a little more freedom to travel around and visit/participate in shoots. Don't have any NCOWS close, but a several hr drive will put me close.

Crow, sorry we didn't get to meet, jaw a bit about NCOWS. Maybe next go 'round.

It was another great NCOWS event. I'm working on a slideshow of the Convention and will be posting it shortly.

Thanks so much for everyone coming, I know a lot of you drove a long way. Besides
a couple of small issues, I was very happy with the way things went. We had 112
banquet tickets, and walk-ins of over 300, both up about 10% from last year.
Vendor tables were up from 33 to 53. So I feel a very successful event, plus we
made some money for the Nat. organization.  Thanks again for everyones help
and participation.
