Howdy, Quickfire,

Is NCOWS membership necessary to shoot?
I haven't been on the Val range for many years.

No it's not Mustang. Never has been for a regular shoot and certainly not for a GAF shoot.

Thanks, Jack.

I was a member for BRR & NCOWS many years ago, when they started using the range at Val.
I was thinking that you had to be a member of both (at that time anyway) to use their range.

Quick Fire

Greg, you only have to be a member of NCOWS to be a member of BRR, not to shoot there. That's the way it's always been.  Also, I'm in effect renting the range for the GAF muster shoot so none of that really applies except the basic range rules. I'll have a separate insurance rider and some different rules (GAF rules) for this shoot.

I need more info/ map on where your April shoot will be held. I plan on coming out Friday afternoon before. I will camp weather permitting, any motels if forecast is bad? I will bring my double ( 450 NE ) :-) if you need more shooters, is it possible to shoot more than 1 class?

By using Google Maps or Google Earth, go to  41° 8'3.75"N  96°53'22.09"W That should be the gate to the range. There motels in Seward or Lincoln. They'd probably be the closest.
