Professor Marvel

thanks for the video Drydock!

Long ago in Minneapolis I frequented a place called "Railway Freight and Salvage Co."
These guys acquired anything they coud get cheaply ( surplus, freight , salvage, bankruptcies, etc ) and resell it.

They had a complete Lahti  and 2 magazines hanging in the rafters!

They usually claimed it was a non-functional  training piece but When I spoke with the boss and identified  it ( ie: is that really a WW2 Lahti Anti-Tank gun?) he opened up and  We had a long and interesting chat about it. They even had some live ammunition for it, but generally kept that quiet as well. This was after "thunderbolt and Lightfoot" came out, and they did not need a copy-cat LOL .

one wonders what ever happened to it...

Border Ruffian

Excellent post! As I'm of Finnish descent, I've always wanted to fire one of those.

Forty Rod

I had a frat brother who picked up a Lahti anti-tank rifle and a Boyes .55 anti tank rifle.  We shot them both, but I'm not going to tell you either one was pleasant.
