Good news, Del.  After my last one, the Doc told me I didn't need another one forever.  When I looked at him funny, he told me that since I am over seventy, our wonderful, benificient, magnanimous federal government has decreed that I can't have any more; if I get something related, I'll just have to go off somewhere and croak.

Had a nice cuppa a bit ago, now searching for something to eat.

Another fair day, but not as nice as yesterday, it's windy, and about 65 out right now, with partly cloudy, about 50%, skies.

I can't sleep at night anymore, so sleeping in the daytime is my new schedule. I had some corn flakes this morning and went to sleep. It is 3:30 pm and I am wide awake. It is overcast and in the high 50s. I skipped lunch and no clue for supper tonight.

I'm alive this morning/afternoon, got the felling like someone punched me in the gut, but was expected.

Wife took me out to a new malt place near home last night and got me a great malt, cause I was a big boy and didn't cry at the Dr's.  LOL

Argh...I'm purposefully in a calorie deficit (and intend to be for many moons), and the topic of malts shows up!
I shall have to exercise great restraint on the drive home...There is a Sonic and a Whataburger enroute...though they aren't the best malts, they are easy to access.  My favorite malt was made at Jerry's Drive-in on Cervante's Blvd in P-cola.  That place has been there since my dad was in high school! 

Oh well....otherwise, I've been out enjoying the beautiful day making rounds at work.  Time for an afternoon cup of coffee.

Spent most of yesterday on the mowers. Was still pretty wet in a lot of places,though. Still have some to mow today, then trim. planning on doing my own yard Saturday.

Thanks for the Cawffee this morning. I had a late breakfast, so lunch will be skipped. I'm planning to fix a large order of chicken fajita nachos for supper tonight, with lots of adult beverages.

Both the wife and I have been under the weather this last week (two different maladies.  Hope we don't swap).

Speaking of the weather.  We had 60's on Monday, snow on Tuesday, then it's been in the 70's the  rest of the week.

I was out fixing fence and cutting black locust saplings down. My Restistol saved me from getting stuck by a locust thorn. The thorn was stuck in the hat.

Thorny locusts are just plain evil. At least a couple times a month I cut down a bunch of them. Seems like there's no end. I got one pair of boots I always wear for that, looks like hobnail boots on the soles, from all the thorns embedded in them Never had one come all the way through the sole (at least not on those boots) but they will come right through the leather around the edges of the sole, though. And when ever I cut one down....ALWAYS put stump killer on it, or else a dozen more will sprout around it!

They make tractor and Bush Hog tires leak, also.
