I've been getting questions about why I haven't put up any new black powder videos.

I had an injury that will have me out of commission for quite awhile.

Mike,

I wish you well with this.
I did a rotary cuff surgery thing, And was told I would not be able to (work) preform my Blacksmith duties for at least 6 months.
I viewed the Therapy as the most aggressive way to get back into shape.
Do not skimp on any part of the Therapy!!!!
I was back to work in 6 weeks and forging hot Iron in 3 months.

Sorry to hear of your accident, Mike. My wife did something similar about a year ago--also on a slick ice covered driveway. Always enjoy your material--both written and video--and look forward to your return. Until then "a speedy recovery and God bless"

Hi Mike,

Sorry to hear about your Shoulder injury. It is unfortunate that you will be out of commission for that long, but we will be looking forward to hearing from you as you get healed up. Listen to the Sawbones and don't try to push it. I had hip surgery and didn't, it took a number of months longer than it should have and I'm just now getting back to battery.

Man, what a bummer. Hang in there Mike. Phys. Therapy can be painful, but the end results are amazing. I know this from my own experience with my back, shoulder and bicep tear. My personal Torturer does a wonderful job of keeping me in pain while He or She massages, stretches, and manipulates my skeletal / muscular areas. I did not like it at first, but it is helping me get back to a normal life.

We will keep you in prayers.

Whew!! I was waiting on edge afraid you were going to say you hit your noggin'.

Glad to know your getting treatment....don't worry about work, blah, blah. Take time to recover after a significant injury.
I speak from experience, I had traumatic injury from a fall, with a number of complications...Took several years just to get diagnosed & effective treatment started...all the while, continuing to work.

Recovery is simply a work in-progress.

Hopefully my "posts" now make sense (most of the time).
