Thanks in advance for the help.  Just getting started in this hobby. Can I use vinagroon on a previously dyed holster. It was dyed with a water based dye and oiled no sealer.  Thanks again

I've never had any experience with water based dyes. You may want to take a Q-Tip or a small brush and dab a little on somewhere it won't be seen to test it.

The only experience I have had with water based dyes on leather has been from the cheap Military type leather coming out of India/Paki area.
What I would do is wipe the leather with a wet rag to remove the extra dye, Then polish the leather with shoe polish in the color I wanted to maintain. This seemed to take care of the problem.
