Need .44-40 cylinder

Hello!
Does anyone here have a Colt or Great Western II (Pietta) .44040 cylinder in need of a new home? I've struck out in all the normal parts places.

I have a couple of .41 Colt and a .45 but that is no help. Sorry.

You may be better off to find a .357 Magnum cylinder and have the chambers reamed to .44-40.

I have a .44-40 Uberti P model cylinder available. Can't say if it would fit your GW or Pietta. Find a buddy with a Uberti and see if the swap is feasible.

The old Armi San Marcos cylinders will interchange with a Colt.

Can't find one of those either. I'll probably just have to wait until EMF gets the Pietta cylinders back in stock. They're supposed to call me when they do.

About six months ago I was looking for a Colt .44-40 cylinder. There were at least six on Ebay. Just need to keep checking. Here is one. Just need to keep searching. They are farly common.
