I'm wanting to try some slightly larger diameter .403" bullets in one of my ancient 38-40's. Anyone have 50.or so they'd sell?

  Thanks,

Desperado Bullets offers a .403" diameter bullet for the .38-40 in 20/1 alloy.
One can purchase a sample of 100 for a bit over $10 + shipping. ;D
Their lube is said to be compatible with b.p.

Thanks for the tip. I have a sample pack of 100 on the way.

Blackpowder Burn

I shot some of their bullets when I first started with BP.  They work well, but the lube volume is small.  They work fine for a revolver, but I suspect they'd be short of lube for a rifle.
