Cutting wood and burning brush piles this afternoon. Managed to whack my shin with a stick of wood, I think once I sit down this evening I won't want to get back up again until morning....

Laughing, somewhere else they are talking about guns that after the trip to the smith will only fire Federal primers, heck that's broke ain't it?  Why pay someone to break a gun, I have that Ruger with about a 1 pound trigger that will set off CCI small rifles primers, and each time you pull the trigger, but use Win SP for the heavy load.

Oh in case you are one that freaks out with rifle primers used in a pistol, I make up for it, I use pistol primers in my 22 Horner.    ;D

sorry about your injury PE, glad you liked the sandwich.

Just depends on what you're using them for,Del. Most of my revolvers were okay with any primer save for CCI's. I settled for Federal's just to be sure they'd go boom when I wanted them to, plus the lightened springs were easier on arther. ::)

If you do the polish they need there is no problem, Slim has played with mine I think, about as light as you can get yet sets everything off.

Can't put headers and a big Holley on a 283 and expect good results with out doing the rest of the work needed.

The last little patch of sn@w disappeared yesterday.  Supposed to push 70 today, then cooling down.  Chance of a little more white stuff on Thursday.

I'll take all you can send us as long as it stays above the 6000 ft level.  The ski slopes benefit and the streets stay clear.  Plus the water levels get better after the snow melts.  We'll see what kind of stuff we get on Thursday (If anny).

We went out about 7:30 last night and laid down some ice melter. We'll see if it helped in a bit. I know I've got some really smooth ice along the outside edge of my carport.

It's 27 here, semi-dark ::)

shirt sleeve here , woke to 48° but should see 77° this afternoon....

I have appointments for both the X-over & the car for LOF this afternoon, used to take pride in doing it myself
But, It actually cost less at the Dealer, every 5th one is free .... and they rotate the tires for free.

By the time I go get 10 qt.s of oil , 2 filters and have 10 qt.s of used oil to discard....well I just have dealer do it...
almost ashamed of myself...  ::)

Do it myself  ( 2 cars X 5 changes = $245 )
Dealer  ( 2 cars X 4 ( 5 one free) changes = $224  + the free rotation

No brain-er there

Ended up with about 3" of slushy stuff. Scraped the slop off the sidewalks and driveway, then the sun did the rest.  Everything but the grassy areas are clear now.

Grilled burgers are on the menu for supper, but still no idea for Saturday.

42 right now heading for 50.  Constant warming into next week.
