I just put these up in the Classifieds.  Asking $5500.

For some reason, I can't add text to the listing so I added the description as a Comment.  Just to add a belt to my suspenders, here it is:

I haven't been shooting as much as I used to, and I can't justify letting the money they represent lie idle.  So, here's what you get:  Two S&W 2000 Schofield revolvers, #s GWS1850 and GWS0013; each comes with all papers, original wood grips, engraved elephant ivory grips, a wooden display case and a carrying case (plastic for 1850, Performance Center aluminum for #13 - I carried both in the aluminum case for matches), and custom holster. Also included are the certificate for the elephant ivory, Lyman .45 Schofield 3-die set, whatever ammo I have made up at the time and all empty brass I have on hand (once or twice fired), and #13 comes with special paperwork.  I have done my best to make these a matching pair, with scrimshawed elephant ivory grips, gold-plated furniture and custom-made holsters;  the barrel contours were done by hand in the Performance Center and are essentially hand built guns.  I've shot about 500 rounds through each and, near as I can tell, I'm the only person who's ever fired them.  All told, I've put about $5.5k into these, and that's the asking price.

Not to be pissy about it, but I'm emotionally attached to these, as well as the money, so I'm not open to *any* trades; I might dicker on the price, but only if you've got a *really* good sweetener to throw into the deal.  All other things being equal, I'd prefer to do a FTF in Michigan (I'm in Lansing, willing to meet in a parking lot, somewhere) to avoid shipping hassles (plus I'll throw in the ammo I have left).
