I believe that may or may not have been a tractor sized earthquake!

There is a reason officers are supposed to have a driver.   ;D

There are different sorts of earthquakes. I know the 4.3 we had in my area last week was on a known plate subduction zone. How did they explain the one you have there.

I have heard of fracking related earthquakes. I am interested in that our province is considering that frackin stuff!

Del, I know that officers have to have a driver, but I am an exception!

I DON'T GOLF ;)

I'm not sure the dish drainer or the garbage can lid thought it was funny.  ::)

As I understand it there's a known fault line that runs within about 5 or 6 miles from my house. HOWEVER both plates are moving the same direction so the quakes don't happen very often nor are they very sever. We had a quake around 20 years ago that had an epicenter about 10 miles E-NE of this one. I slept through it. When this one occurred, I was drilling a hole in a cement block wall in the gym for a camera bracket so I neither heard nor felt it.

Anyway, fear not. The facilities at Camp Scout and I are safe and sound. (Well the facilities are sound. I'm not sure how "sound" I am.)  ;)

Well it's your fault, not mine.    ;)

One very cold winter day during a real cold spell when we lived on West P street I was on the second floor and the house shook some, thought we had one, then a few seconds later I heard a bad metallic sound.  BNSF derailed several cars of a coal train in Hobson Yard about a 1/2 mile south of me.    ::)
