Just wanted to share some Holiday Season happiness.    ;D

I recently bought two Winchester/Miroku's that are just gorgeous.
I can't post a pic from my phone, so I hope it's fine to post these links:

This one just arrived and went out to the range today.  HooBoy what a natural shooter.  I took the first shot (just for grins) at a clay at 50 yds.  Boom, shattered.  It got better after that.  :)

It looks even better than these pics and turned some heads at the range:

So after ordering (but before receiving) the '73 above, I was window-shopping and ran across this one.  I thought, I need another '73 like a hole in the head but I can't let this one get away.

It'll be here in a couple of weeks and I'm loving the sense of anticipation:

Dang, I love '73's.

Congrats on the new 73s ,I lucked out myself last week and found one of the Miroku 73 sporter in 44/40 at a local dealer. Here in Canada they are scarcer than hens teeth, the dealer ordered it 18months ago and I just happened to phone up looking for one on the day it came .The gun gods were looking out for me that day.

Congrats back atcha, especially given your more strict gun laws and currency differential right now.
I love Canada and Canadians ( well, most of them :)  ) and I come up to BC every summer for fishing.
I hope yours is a great shooter for you, too.

Now that's some wood! 8)  What a great find, hope they shoot every bit as well as they look!

I bought my Wnchester from Dennis (Burns, OR). He was a pleasure to buy from and was very helpful. Nice wood on your rifle. Mine has similar wood too. Can't go wrong with those 73's. Nice guns!
