Just realized it's my nephews birthday and remembering the one 25 years ago when we dropped the kids off at the party and went and got Midnite.

Jake has to go to the Vet Thursday , he has small bump on his head about the size of an Aspirin.
My daughter a Vet in training , thinks it should be looked at, and she works at the Vet Hospital where she's taking him....
We want to be sure it's benign.

Sorry to hear of your friends crossing, Buck and Slim; It's not an easy thing, no matter how many times you go through it.

Thanks for the memories, Del; I've put what seems like a million miles under my wheels in my lifetime, a great many of them accompanied by Tom T. Hall and his music and stories.  That one is one of my all time favorites.

Sorry to hear about your dogs, gents.  I too am familiar with the situation. 

Well, the "S-word" hit Californee yesterday.  About an hour of it, though none stuck.  temperatures were in the 10s for most nights since the last time i was here.  Tonight is supposed to be warmer at 25.  

Anyway, just thought I'd poke my head in, remind you that I'm still kicking.

I'm so sorry for the loss you both have suffered.  I have suffered for every friend I have had to be the care giver for and recipient of their affection over the years.

A roast is in the crock-pot preparing to be chimies and burritos for supper tonight.
