51 navy dovetail front sight?

Anybody have pics of a somewhat historically accurate front sight blade for a 51 navy?  Doesn't have to be perfect, just something that will fit visual wise.  It's going on a square back Uberti I'm putting a Kirst in and shortening the barrel down to about 5 1/2".  I will most likely make it from mild steel, but do have brass as well.  Just looking for some idea of what would look rite on it, and maybe make it shoot point of aim after opening up the rear hammer sight.

Thanks

I have made front sights both from scratch, and modified Uberti Remington, which need a bit of shortening.  Good thing about making scratch sights is that you can use the dovetail cutter to make both the sight and the slot for a perfect angle match...

This one is not trimmed yet to match the barrel flats.

Match the width with the rear sight notch

This is a reshaped Remington sight

Thanks Flint, the brass one is what I've got in mind, though I'll probably do it in steel and blue it when I re do the barrel after draw filing the flats a bit.  Most likely make it a bit thinner, though not too much, my eyes aren't 19 any more.  Love the way you milled the hammer sight, may have to do something like that on my cap guns as well.  Not sure how "historically accurate" the sights are, but then a Kirst isn't exactly 100% historically accurate either, but close enough.  Now if I could find some one to engrave the kirst cylinder I'd be a happy camper.
