Good luck, do wait till he's better and then all of you need to sit down and have a talk with him.

I know that sounds bad but had to do that in 1989 with my Dad, Mom called me from work and I went and got my brother and told him to get in my car so we could go to the ER nice or we would hag tie him.  Was there for about 10 days.

The Cawffee and Hot water are ready to drink. Enjoy! We went out to eat for Supper last night. Moose was in the mood for Tex-Mex, so we went to our favorite place to eat. I had some cold Coronas to wash it down. I ate too much as usual. I've had my second cup of Cawffee, No clue for Breakfast or Lunch.

I could get used to this cool weather. It was 59 at sun up and a high of 86 at 5 pm. I think that Fall has finally arrived here in the Metroplex.

We ended up with Pizza Hut Pizza for Supper. We ate on the Patio and had some adult beverages to wash down the Pizza.

That wouldn't have been a Long Island Ice Tea??

Great day hear on the coastal plains.  54 years ago, my mother had her first born.  She and my dad, did an excellent job of raising him.

I am grateful for my parents bringing me into this world, and guiding me to find my way.  Cheers, mom and dad...have a cup of coffee on me...

Happy Birthday Troy!

The hens turned out great!  We started to get rain about the time I was bringing them in.  Over Thursday and Friday we got about 3/4", about the most we've had over the entire summer.

Been a spending some cash the last couple days.  Scheduled some tree trimming for this coming Monday, had a leak in the sprinkler system manifold repaired, and patched holes in the wood trim made by a now late woodpecker (did the last part on mine own, no charge).
Ordered a new desk chair for the "Eclectic Den", should be here tomorrow.

Last mowing done on Saturday, followed by a final sprinkler test tomorrow.  Then I'll be shutting it down for the winter.  The grass is starting to go dormant.

Supper tonight will be grilled pork steaks with leftover rice from the hens.  After a phone conference about our retirement investments (might be having supper for breakfast).

My last was in 85.

OK, things are looking up, went to the big city (Omaha) for some testing tube down the throat and all, things are not as bad as first thought.  Not hernia any more, must have slipped back sometime (Not uncommon)  The e tube was real narrow, they stretched it and gave me some muscle relaxers to help it stay that way, will try to see if I can wean off them in a month or so.

Good thing, got my first full night sleep in a long time, even missed the 2 am plumbing check, firgue not being able to drink most the day yesterday had something to do with it.

Del   Hope things continue to improve.

Troy  Just after the first of the year I'll turn 65 and I can get my Senior discounts and all.  Then I plan on callin' it quits on birthdays too.

Pork steaks were great last night.  Finished of f the leftover rice with them.  Got the night off from cooking, but as we're running low on leftovers, may have the wife pick up some fried chicken breasts from the offsite pantry's deli while she's shopping

The new desk chair has made it to Reno, but 'taint made it to the den yet.
