There's about a .25 cent spread in gas prices around here. Where I work, around Lake of the Ozarks, it's about $2.04 today, That's about a half hour from home. Last weekend, we were a half hour in the other direction, over by Ft Leonard Wood, it was $2.29 or higher. Seems like around here, the lake's the cheapest place, and whichever direction you go from there, it gets higher.

$2.09.9 Tues. Morn. @ WaWa when I got $25 worth
and dropped to $2.07.9  by that afternoon ... not sure where it is now ....  :-\

I noticed driving by, Walmart and Brand X (bulk quick marts ) is hovering just over $2

The named brands are still  proud of their hype,  and I see signs 10-12 cents higher

The Cawffee and Hot water are ready for drinking. Enjoy! I guess that I win the jackpot for the cheapest gas. Valero(Shamrock) is a $1.89 a gallon, other places are around $2.00 a gallon. I put $20. In and it filled up to over a half-tank. I could get used to this.

It looks like the rain is over for a couple of days. The yards are already perking up. I finished off the Cawffee, switching to iced tea. The pantry seems to be bare. It looks like a trip downtown for some fast food of some kind.

The weather was being very cooperative last night, the patio was nice and warm and the stroganoff was delicious.

No rain here for a long time now, and it looks like it will be a long time in the future before we see some.  At least the temps are going to start dropping from the low 90's to the mid 70's over the next week.

It got hot on the Patio while I was eating Lunch. I moved inside where it is cooler. Victoria is in the back yard, working on her tan. No clue for Supper.

I'm off in the morning for Table Rock Nebraska about 80 miles away, (also home to Wild West Arms and our own Mustang Greg)  doing a school kids demo with them coming in shifts all day, just doing biscuits with self rising flour, simple and everyone shoulfd get a taste.

I should be safe, one of my in-bred relatives is the Sherriff, that is the land where our Neidlander is from and also clost to where Dan Whitney aka Larry the Cable Guy grew up.     I should fit right in cause I have missing teeth. ::)

Smoke from another Northern Cal. Fire drifted in overnight, leaving a very hazy morning.  No wind no, so the start of the Reno Balloon races was more of a race to go straight up and come back down.  Could see several of them off to the Northeast, but there wasn't much lateral movement.  Hopefully we will get some wind out of the East tomorrow morning and we'll get some drifting over the house.

Going out for a day-before-anniversary dinner tonight, so I've got night off of cooking.
