BLACKSMITHS AND PIONEERS DAYS
AT THE TRANSUE BROS. BLACKSMITH MUSEUM
SATURDAY AUG. 15 9 AM - 5 PM
SUNDAY AUG. 16 9 AM - 3 PM
SUMMERFIELD, KS. 2015
ALL DENOMINATION OLD TIME CHURCH SERVICE SUNDAY MORNING AT 9:30 A.M. NORTH OF THE MUSEUM.
THERE WILL BE BLACKSMITHING, HAND MADE DREAM CATCHER, MARBLE BLOWING, DUTCH OVEN COOKING, SKULL PAINTING, ROPE MAKING, PINE NEEDLE BASKETS, WOOD CARVING, PINE NEEDLE JEWELRY,  WOOL SPINNING, BUTTER MAKING, HIT AND MISS ENGINES, THE HOMESTEAD DULCIMER, BROOM MAKING,  THE WINDY RIVER DULCIMER. HAND MADE FLUTES AND WHISTLE, OL' LEATHER WIIL BE THERE WITH HIS OLD SONG AND HISTORY. BRING A LAWN CHAIR AND WATCH THE GUNS FIGHTS, THERE WILL BE SKITS BOTH DAYS.  HAVE YOUR FRIENDS/FAMILY ARRESTED BY THE SHERIFF AND PUT IN THE 1889 JAIL AND HAVE THEM, BAIL THEMSELVES OUT. RIDE THE OVERLAND STAGE COACH.  LUNCH AND SUPPER AVAILABLE ON SATURDAY. SUNDAY MORNING BRUNCH WILL AVAILABLE AT 10:30 AM IN THE COMMUNITY CENTER.

SATURDAY ONLY FORT RILEY WILL BE AT THE MUSEUM WITH THEIR TEAM AND WAGON AND ENCAMPMENT.
SUNDAY ONLY-LEARN HOW TO MAKE A SKIRT OUT OF CURTAINS
