Unfortunately, I got into guns after USFA was already gone. There are probably many models or versions that I have never seen but of the ones I have seen I like the Ainsworth the best. A nearly exact replica of the first SAA's Colt made and they can be shot with black powder or smokeless.
Did USFA ever make a Frontier Six Shooter with the etched panel? If so, that would be just as cool as an Ainsworth.

Never seen one I have 2 US made Frontier Six Shooter with that rolled on. The hammer is polished not case colored, so it would like a 2nd Generation Colt. Since I am closer to end than the beginning I think it is time to sell them.

russ1943, I aspire to own a USFA Frontier Six Shooter someday but I doubt I can afford one now.

The 12/22... so much fun to shoot. But holy mackerel did they really jump up in price (well, I guess everything did for USFA guns, but the 12/22s are really up there).

Someday I would like a Custer Battlefield.
