I was looking at some old pictures from previous Musters and it occurred to me; I kinda miss Texas Sgt., Scooter, Bowview Haymaker, Windy City Joe, Guns Garrett, Megan O'Ruckus, Cherry Lake Kate, Major Matt Lewis and Cowtown Scout. Not to Mention Stu Kettle, Cherry Lake Jake, and Curly LaGrande

Me too!  I would add Charles Isaac and Captain Mack to that list.  Been far to long since we've seen some of these folks.

My registration is going in the mail Tuesday!  Going to try single shot military blackpowder  this time. Only seems right for the Little Bighorn fight. I was inspired last year by a Texican that goes by Oklahoma Tom, or Hamish Scott, depending whether or not he's wearing a dress! (kilt) Beautiful green Scot tartan by the way!

I need to get my registration in. 1st Sgt. Tom Rhodes will be at Little Big Horn with the 7th Cav -- again. I believe my Irish and Scots counterparts will be otherwise engaged. Area for bivouac has been procured.

I am getting excited here, People!

So I'm going to assume, unless I hear differently, that I should plan on bringing both GAF and American Plainsman appropriate gear.

Me too! I think this is the most competitors we've had registered this early, and we're seeing several new faces.

Yep, real excited!

I'll let Col. Neiderlander address the Plainsman stage.

So, Sgt Rhodes, the latest Shootist came the other day and there's a picture on the back that looks vaguely familiar.

If your referring to the fella on the Tshirt, I've met that scoundrel a time or two. My advice is don't trust that Tom Dunphy.

Mustang Gregg

Col Pitspitr:

Are the 100 -300 yd targets made of iron and scored by a clang or are they paper targets?

I'm going to have to find a revolver suitable for the Muster too.

Respectfully,

Long range targets are AR 500 armor steel,  meant for full power/jacketed loads, and clang they do!  There are no ammunition limitations for the Long Range event.
Civilize them with a Krag . . .

And as a point of clarification; there are no ammunition limitations for the Precision Pistol either. The only limitations are on the main match targets.

Col. MG
There is a class for the rifle only if you wouldn't have an appropriate pistol; however, this would give you a nice excuse to buy another!  ;)
