Wow, that list has a great crew showing up for this Grand Muster! I wish I could make it, but I'm scheduled for a heart catheterization on the 27th. Nuclear stress test showed some potential blockage, and a long trip like this is probably a bit much for me right now.

I'll probably get another period incorrect item added to the inside of one of my coronary arteries. So at least I got a good excuse-should keep me from attaining deserter status! :D

We'll raise a glass to ya, Sir Charles. Mind your health as long as you've got it.

Perhaps next year.

That's great Capt. Dan!  Turns out all 3 of  my stents were clear. Got one small clogged artery that is inaccessible for a stent but we already knew about that and it's not a vital one anyways.

Everyone looks great in the photos-I hope it was as much fun as it looked! :D

I arrived home about 1:30 pm today, had a minor problem with the Field Marshall, but he limped on in.  Going through stuff now.

Made it to Dodge City today. So glad I came to the muster. Matches were fantastic, meeting the the folks was even more so. Everyone made a rookie feel welcome. Chow was great, the down side is I probably gained 5 pounds!!!

If anyone out there has ever thought about attending, I heartily recommend you do so. Shooting games a simulated combat course is a hoot!!

Many thanks to all that made the muster possible. Also many thans for making Anne, her friend Shirley and the dogs welcome as well.

Hope to make 2017 and if not certainly 2018.

Give me a few days to get the full results and my report together. I'll post them in the After Action Reports child board.

Mary and I stayed outside of OKC last night.  We made it back to the Tejas Coastal Plain around 1530 today.  Wagon unpacked, and brass is tumbling now.  Processed some photographs.  I'll post a few and a link to the rest in short order.

I want to close the post by saying a BIG thank you!  The event was very well laid out, and executed with military precision!  I think what made the most impression on me was the camaraderie...I'm making plans for next year already!

Made it home finally, Muster was great, the travelling was not so great this year. The not-so-mighty Blazer decided Lincoln was as far as it was going, remains there awaiting some unknown repairs. Many thanks to Drydock for the ride home. Which reminds me, I've got your sleeping pad, and I think you've got my "tack hammer" (3 lb blacksmith hammer) I was using for driving tent pegs, and there's another book so far un-accounted for, might still be packed somewhere. Time now for some sleep, and off to work :'( tomorrow.

Made it back to the Texas farm at 2130. It was a great time once again. Special shout out to Ira Scott, who really cleaned house at the muster. I am proud of you, buddy!
