Rain and thunder bumpers are starting to move in.
Low temps for tonight are being called for at about 75. That will make sleeping (without AC) quite comfortable.
I am looking forward to the cooler temps.

Friend of mine in Alsaka posted this a while ago.  A friend of his was late to work, heard a noise out in his yard and found this guy trying to steal his 4 Wheeler,  got his 30-06 and took care of the problem.   

That looks like fun.

The clean up afterwards was probably some heavy work,Del

65 and light showers here. Keys to the kingdom day. We got the water service hooked up on the new "sales" office yesterday. Area around that one is a mud pit with all this rain we've had. Got the areas around the barn/club house mowed as well as the sewer plant mowed in the afternoon before the rain started. Ran back to the storage barns in the rain, though

I had some raisin bran and a bagel for Breakfast and finished off my pot of Cawffee. I am ready for a Nap.

Cloudy and 87 right now. Took the day off to get my eyes re-checked, the new prescription just wasn't working. The truck goes in for an oil change this afternoon and we're supposed to get heavy rain tonight ans tomorrow. t's been a wet Summer so far

Brisket came out fine.  Bugs came out fine for the cats.  Samantha just huddled as her normal black furry mass in the middle of the yard, but Jake was a yellow streak back and forth from one end of the yard to the other ( I think he stomped on his sister a couple of times in the process.

Decided the grass was dry enough to mow it this morning.  Now I get to relax and think about a nap.

interesting evening last night  Sheriff  Helicopter with its search light blazing and Cop cars,  all with light flashing
All shining their spots in my pastures and around my barn. The front gate was closed so they did drive in.
Then after about 40 minutes of this, two firetrucks arrived.

Enough was enough so we call the Sheriff and ask WTH !  they said they were longing for guy that beat his girlfriend.
Told us to lock our doors & windows ... they want to know had we seen anyone ?

We had not but then its large area and many trees & cover... I checked the barn ..NADA

Settled on grilled hot dogs for supper tonight.

Planning on homemade Hooter's wings with fries for tomorrow night.  There is a 20% chance of rain around supper time, so I thought I'd cook inside.

We slept in today. We had to take the Cadillac to the dealership for a complete brake job yesterday. We got some Tex-Mex for supper. Moose had to take a friend to the airport for a flight this morning. I missed out on the Cawffee this morning.

The bill for the brake job was expensive and hopefully this will cure the brake issues. Moose plans on trading it off after the first of the year. I fixed some chicken Quesadillas for lunch and they turned out good. Take-Out pizza for supper tonight.

Nice car but the Stealers will bleed you.... with $95 oil changes etc.

We ended up with Ham/Cheese sandwiches, potato salad, and pork and beans for supper on the Patio. It was just too hot for Pizza. The Cawffee and Hot water are ready for drinking. enjoy!
