Slept in...sorta  , was up at 5:00 for the obligatory wring out ( both Jake & myself )  fed the cat(s)
then went back to the rack for another 3 hour tour  :)

Had a cup of the coffee, thinking about something maybe to chew on ....coupla choices include , frozen waffles  or a  McMuffin like thing.

Rain seems to have left from here too. Weather guesser is guessing we'll be typical Missouri summer in the next few days-highs in the 90's and humid.

Doing some brake work on the Blazer this morning-keeps wearing out pads prematurely (as in 4-5 weeks, that's ridiculous even by mail carrier standards). Gonna replace EVERYTHING, one side at a time, pads, rotor, caliper and hose. Hopefully that will cure the problem.

Four-Eyed Buck

We were going to mow today, emphasis on were ::) Woke up to rain, managed the rounds, still raining. Boss thinks we're going to need a flock of goats to cope with the grass after this ::) :o
I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....

Sunshine is holding here-finished the Blazer brakes, hope to get more than 5 weeks out of this set. Next project-whole house water filter, tired of yellow/brown gritty water after a heavy rain. New well would be better, but I can get about 20-30 of these filter systems for the cost of one well.

Morning y'all.
Thanks fer the coffee.

Rained a little earlier. Trying to cast some boolits outside. Put more ingots in the pot and waiting for them to melt.
I'm trying to get things ready for the GAF Muster. I realized a couple days ago I will have Friday off 'cuz I'm working Sunday, so I'll leave after verk on Thursday and get there sometime on Friday. I'll see if the boss will let me off on the following Monday for a travel day. It is at least 11 hours one way.

'Tis 66 and partly sunny. "Showers in the morning...Then showers and thunderstorms likely in the afternoon. Highs in the upper 70s. South wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 80 percent."

11 hours? that's as far as I am from Pitspitr's place, I would have thought you would be closer than that.

El Peludo

Sorry to hear that, Del, hope something that suits ya' comes along, if you're of a mind.

Pony Ex, check your rear brakes; if they are out of adjustment in the loose direction, the fronts will try to work overtime to make up the difference.

Summer is here in the Desert Southwest; high one hundreds and one tens the past week with more on the horizon.  The other day, Las Vegas was only three degrees cooler than Death Valley, and last night at midnight, it was still 98* outside.  The poor folks in Phoenix, and the Palm Springs area are getting it worse than we are.

Later.

Rear brakes are good to go(or is that good to stop?).  4 wheel disc brakes, no adjustment, and the pads there are good.

Water filter installed successfully. Water is much better, but still a slight yellowish tint to it. Hopefully we can have a few weeks without any monsoon downpours, and it will clear up on it's own.

Morning y'all.

Yes, but I only have about 50 rounds. So, I'll take the trapdoor also.

Friday's fish and biscuits were great.

Yesterday had pulled BBQ pork, brew and plenty of music and I didn't have to do any of it.  Lots of craft booths to go through too.  Sunny, slight breeze and low humidity.  All in all a good day.

We got some rain yesterday, not enough to really matter. Everything around here is at Flood stage. We really don't need anymore for a month or two.

Buck, I'm going to hold off on my haying till Wednesday.  It needs the shot of water it will get tomorrow during It's water cycle.  Only a couple areas are long enough to need bagging.  The rest gets turned to mulch.
