The nap is over for a little while. It is time for a plumbing check and a drink of water. I am back to bed and ready for some more sleep.

Saw this a while back.

Saw proof it is true today, 3 young "fellows" in the boot dept, all wearin' them ladies jeans, boss lady asked them if any of them had a pocket knife she could use.

Three no's and I got one of mine out, fixed the problem and said that pocket knifes must not fit in ladies jeans and then went home.

A young gent was wearing a pair of these in church this morning.

Rained most of the afternoon. It has slowed down. I'll check the rain gauge in the morn.

Had Johnsonville brats and Bush baked beans fro lunch.

The Cawffee and Hot water are ready for drinking, and some banana-nut bread to eat as well. The rain is coming shortly.

I was planning on grilling hot dogs on the patio for Supper. The Rain has changed that. I will grill them inside and fix some baked beans and potato salad to go with them. The humidity is high, a good day to be inside.

Got 1.4" of rain so far. I think is has stopped fer now. Probably go to the cemetery after lunch.

The rain is scheduled to begin about 2 pm, and under a Tornado watch until 9 pm tonight. We are gonna have grilled hot dogs indoors, baked beans, and potato salad for Supper.

I just finished putting in a good supply of non-perishable food stuffs in the event of our types of FL. storms.
Also a house in the Ocala area has been made available to me should I find a need to evacuate my local. I have stocked it as well.
Always good to be prepared for bad things.
Having enough water is the next big step to get one through a long term catastrophe. This is not always an easy, long term Store bought fix. Learn what you need to have on hand to be prepared.

Drizzly here, Lemol was here, Rita was gone and is still gone, spent the day cleaning up files and such, got rid of about 5 Gig of pictures, junk, duplicates and the like, down to a little over 3 gig.

Took the family on a "mini vacation", stayed the night in St Louis, spent some time at the zoo, and Grant's Farm, then loaded upon Asian grocery stuff not so available closer to home, returned just in time to sleep some and then back to work.

The drip and drizzle has moved out of the area and we're looking at sun and mid 70s to low 80s for the next several days.

Grilled salmon with foil wrapped fried tarters and onions along with some mixed vegies and a side of garlic bread for supper last night.

The wife spent most of the afternoon planting flowers in her hanging pots and flower beds. She's got a few more to go, and then it's on to her vegie garden.
