It is really muggy outside because of all the rain that we've had. No clue for lunch. It is time for my morning nap.

I am awake from my nap, the rains start again at 3 PM CST. Rain all week, through the weekend and next week.

Got the lawn mown, the sidewalk edging straightened out and the sprinklers are on a belated cycle (can't count on the guessers being right on incoming rain).  Used an elastic wrap around my lower back and it seemed to keep it from aching.  My have to try this more often.

49 and just getting light here. Big temp change from earlier in the week Keys to the kingdom today.

Had band practice last night, first time I've played since Easter. Been fighting some sort of cold like ailment and hadn't felt like playing up till now. Have Memorial Day rites with the local American Legion post this weekend, TAPS at two local cemetaries

The Cawffee is tasty this morning. We had some Kung PAO Chicken for Supper last night. I am having a slice of banana-nut bread with my Cawffee this morning. The rains have not started yet, more expected this week.

Took a PTO, have some "irons in the fire"
this will be Car(s) maintenance month , "HERs" goes in for an LOF this morning
then next week, mine goes for the same & a new @ "sticker shock" set  of tires     $202 each then there is mounting & bal.
there is $60 per set, sale going on though    ( that's $15 off so $187 each ...still !

Was mowing, saw a garter snake about a foot long in front of me, stopped because I like them in the yard, stupid thing dashed right under the mower and came out as mulch.   Suicide maybe, life couldn't have been that bad.

Found one swimming in the sewer plant intake chest this morning. Figure one he got tired, he made it to the collimator..........snake burger

had good size tree frog jump on to the AC condenser outside , he fell through the grate and hung on with one arm ? front leg ?

Tiller found two little snakes in the garden, one was what I always called a ringneck snake, the other, just some kind of non poison brown snake. It didn't kill them, so I just put them out at the edge of the yard.

39, partly sunny here. Trying to frost in spots. Will probably mow today once we get done with the samples. Dang dandelions make the grass areas look like we hadn't mowed in a month of sundays

Moose is flying to Atlanta for the weekend, so Victoria and I will be"batch in'" this weekend. The weather is supposed to rainy all weekend. That is good Chili Dog weather. We prolly won't eat healthy while Mom is gone.

The rains are not gonna visit us today. We are still under a flood watch for a couple more days. Victoria and I are gonna take a morning nap.
