I had a conversation with Mr. Granger today.  A fine gentleman, if there ever was one.  I told him I had one of these and he said they were not very common.  Anyone else have a pistol with a set of these?

Dear Pan,
Thanks for the pic.  I'm going to have two of my SAAs outfitted with the target grips.  Just not quite so long. Just enough for pinky purchase.
Best regards

That's the only one I remember leaving with oversize grips while I was there.  Note I said that I remember.  I'm forgetting a lot of stuff lately

I remember seeing these grips advertised - believe that it was on the old web site but could have been in one of the catalogs - and, as I recall, they were not advertised for very long.  I don't imagine that very many of them were sold.  In my opinion they ruin the classic form/lines of the SAA.
That being said, Pangaea, my opinion don't count for much!!!  The fact that you have one of the very few oversized USFA factory grips makes your gun very unique and, from a collectors point of view, very collectable.  I would be willing to bet that you are the only one on this forum that owns a gun with the USFA oversized grips.  Congratulations on owning a rare USFA variation!

Forget the grips!  22RF flat top target?!

How many of those are  there floating around?

I learn something new everyday!   That's the first time I've seen those style grips

Ben, I think they might be listed in the Custom Shop section of the USFA catalogs.  I definitely remember seeing them on the website.
