Stainless Steel Sponge - How do you use it?

That stainless steel sponge or pad that Brownells and some other companies are starting to sell.  Doesn't come with any instructions.  I've draped some over the end of a jag and run it through, not very handy.  Tried wrapping around a bore brush, but you don't need much for that, just enough for one time around.  Anybody else using this stuff, and how do you do it?

IMHO, I would not use it, SS is fairly  hard  and could damage the rifling in your barrel.   Go to the hardware store and buy a copper Chore Girl, looks like a copper SOS pad without the soap.  Snip of a small piece and wrap it around yer brush.  Use it get leading of of your barrel
