Mornin', y'all.

Happy ta see ya enjoyed the visit, Slim.

Over this way we enjoyed some mid fortie, slight breeze, full sun pretty day. Had ta watch where ya were steppin' off pavement. Meltin' white stuff has things more'n a just little soggy. Other'n that t'was nice.

Watchin' M2's birds t'other day, saw the rain, seventy sumthin', caused me ta recollect past stickiness 'n dread it's return. Lookin' it close ta sixty taday.

O'er it the nest yestitty. Couple guys there with professional grade equipment 'n a couple with nice recreational pieces. Ole fella drives up 'n gets out with a framed picture of an eagle. Nice one. Wanted ta sell it. Looked o'er at the fella 'side me I've gotten ta know a bit 'n knew he was thinkin', the same thing I was. Folks we're sittin' there with cameras sportin' lenses bigger'n thermos bottles, mounted on tripods – why in the flyin' $#&^ would we wanna buy his pitcher?

Roast is goin' in the l'il red one inna bit. Couple places ta go then enjoy the outdoors a little. Y'all have fun.

All I did was name it 'n get it started. The posse made it great. A debt I can never repay. Thank you, mi amigos.

I got home from Springfield about Noon. I got out on an earlier flight. I had a great time at the Convention. I missed M2 not being there. I won  some items at the banquet Sat. Night. I won a picture frame, a Western VHS tape, and Special Edition of American Cowboy, featuring Lonesome Dove and The Texas Rangers. The Johnson County Rangers were raffling off a Special bottle of Jim Beam Whiskey with NCOWS Convention  2015 etched on it. I won it, so I gave it to Tascosa Joe to bring back to Texas for me. I could not bring it back on the plane. My friend, Windy City Joe , won the pistol raffle this year.

The Convention site is really nice and the food is excellent. I have eaten most of the items on the menu, and they were all good, especially the Rueben sandwich and the Fish and Chips. The burgers are good too. The bad weather really hurt the attendance, of members and vendors as well. That being considered, I still had a great time, and looking forward to next year's Convention.

Agreed, really good food and the free breakfast is great , I know you told me several TX folks were daunted by the weather and had to turn back .
I hope the Double M posse will host again , but I fear they may not  :(

Thanks for the Coffee Buck, I'm back to the job 20 today.

They have a very good Classic Burger made with a Black Bean patty, too. Tasty with gruyere cheese melted on top!

It has been raining for two days, we have a 90 percent chance of rain today. We are having rain all week, Sat and Sun will be warm and sunny. Victoria will not like being inside all week. I hope we can take her to the Park on Sat and Sun. I had an English Muffin for breakfast and a Ham lunch able and apple slices for lunch. I think that Moose is fixing Potato Soup for supper.

Our snow has been replaced by rain. The Potato soup that Moose made is really good, I had seconds. Waffles are on the agenda tomorrow. I am going to enjoy having Moose home all week. I know that Victoria will enjoy having Moose home too. Victoria slept on my side of the bed while I was gone to the Convention.
