I've made a pot of Cawffee this morning too. Hopefully the temps will melt the snow some. The moisture is needed and we are expecting rain next week. The Chili turned out good last night. No clue for breakfast, lunch, or supper today. Victoria has had fun playing in the snow.

No sn*w falling at the moment, but sky still looks like it could. County grader man was working overtime, he went by the house last night around 7:30 or 8. Hmmm, last snow just stayed on the road till it melted, grader came by when it was almost gone. Don't know about the I-44 jam up, wife hasn't checked the facebook, her friends were posting last night some of the locals were handing out coffee and hot chocolate to the people stranded.

Major, I am tired of the snow too. We are starting a warmup here today, it will be in the low 40s today. Moose fixed Waffles and Bacon for Brunch. No clue for Supper, maybe a pot of Pinto beans with cornbread.

The day turn out pleasant, was gray overcast then cleared out with no thunderstorms as predicted, in fact we only got spit for few minutes.

M2, I am jealous of your weather next week. I hope the weather is good for the Convention. They have had snow up there, but the forecast is good. They have cancelled the Shoot because the Range will be too muddy.   The beans are smelling good, I am going to cut up onions, and jalapeño and some hot chow chow. I am watching the big rodeo from JerryWorld on RFD-TV.

Happy March Ya'll

Had our snow event this past week- seen more. It is central Alabama though. The dogs seem to enjoy it. Didn't slow them down. The tree huggers were at arms over the 2 chicks in the nest at Beery College. They were up eating this morning. So now the spring rains are here and start of tornado season. Go figure.
I have been busy between weather-planted potatos- peas- and five apple tree. Then trimming trees before they bud. I also started a chicken coop from bamboo i harvested last summer. Chicks are in a homemade brooder. Brown egg layers. No added hormones or gmo feed here. Call it the old hippie syndrome.

Saw that TLD... looks like cold 30's  is about all they have to deal with.... I'll miss being there

I was able to visit the site of the Massacre at Goliad several years ago. It made me feel proud as a Texan. The Alamo is a place that everyone needs to visit, especially Texans.

The beans are smelling good, they should be ready in about 30 minutes. The Rodeo from Jerry World has been awesome. I am glad that I watched it from, My kidneys could not made it all day. I am ready to eat some beans and cornbread.

Had Pizza for dinner here, daughter brought home a deep dish bacon wrapped pizza, two of my favorite food groups in one.

Beans were good here, just for me, though, Wife had some Philippine beef soup, has a bit too much ginger for my taste, although if we'd been at the table in Philippines instead of here, I'd probably tolerate it.

I'll start a pot. As I figured, yesterday was a long one. We didn't stop until after 8 P.M....

22 here, gettin' light out. Clean up day, must've gotten around 8 to 10 inches of the evil white stuff this time. Down to our last pallet of salt again, no idea when we'll get more, either
